Fibromyalgia is a medical disorder characterized by chronic widespread pain and allodynia, a heightened an painful respones to pressure. Fibromyalgia symproms are not restriced to pain. leading to the use of the alternative teerm fibromyalgia syndrome for the condition. Other symptomss include debilitating fatigue, sleep disturbanes, an joint stiffness. SOme patients may also report difficaltiy swallowing, bowel and blader abnormailties, numbness and tingling, and cornitive dysfuntion. Fibromyalgia is frequently comorbid with psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, stress-related disorders such as post-tramatic stress disorder, NOt all people with fibromyalgia experience all these associated symptoms. Fibromyalgia is estimated to affect 2-4% of the population, with a female to make indcidence ratio of approximalety 9:1.

Evidence from resaerch conducted in the the last three decades has revealed abnormailites with in the central nervous system affecting brain regions that may be linked both to clinical symptoms and research phenomena. These studies alterations in the central nervous system might be the result of child hood stress, or prolonged or sever stress.

Historically, fibromyalgia has been consider either a musculoskeletal disease or neuropschiatric condtion. Although there is yet a cure for fibromyalgia, some treatmens have been demonstrated by controlled clinical trails to be effective in redusing symptoms, incliding medications, behavioral interventions, patients education, and exercise. The most recent aprroach of a diagnosis of fibromyalgia involbes pain index and a measure of key symptoms and severity.

Fibromyalgia is consider a controlversial diagnosis, due to the lacking of scientific consensus to its couse. NOt all memebers of the medical community consider fibromyalgia a disease because of lack of abnormalites on phiscal examination and absence of objective diagnostic test.

Hate to see the sadness in there eyes cuz they know it hurts me to get a hug
Hate it when they ask me to do something an it hurts me so bad cuz I can not
Hate to see the fear in there eyes when I fall down
Hate to see them upset cuz I need to lay down an can not spend the time with them \Hate Hate that we can not do everything a family should be able to cuz of the pain
Hate having fibromyalgia cuz it holds me back in life.
